Adding additional control points
At this point, we just have a small curve going down the forehead. The entire profile for our pendant is going to be made up of a series of these little Bezier curves, all with their own control points and handles. We don't have to start from scratch. We can grow the curve we already have. An end point of our existing curve can serve as the starting point for our next one. All we have to do is add a new control point so the new curve segment knows where to go.
The steps for adding a new control point are:
- Right-click to select the existing control point you want to use as the starting point for the next section of the curve. In this example, I want to grow the curve downwards towards nose, so I right-click the control point by the eye.

- Hold down the Ctrl key and left-click where you'd like the new control point:
