Motivations

Understanding the motivations that lead the user to use our platform will give us tools to create a satisfactory experience for the user. In a process in which diverse people interact, each of them will have a different interest. For example, while a person buying a product in an online store may be motivated by wanting to give a gift to another person, the seller behind the store may be trying to reach the end-of-month sales quota. We will, therefore, be able to offer information about the state of the system in an appropriate way to each one of them.

The following are some examples of possible motivations:

  • Increasing the business revenue
  • Connecting with teammates and working as a whole
  • Doing the job well to get paid
  • Making world knowledge accessible for everybody
